FOR ACADEMICS

In 2011 Credos launched a high-calibre network of academics with an interest in advertising-related subjects from across the UK. We are looking to partner with academic leaders to fund, publish and promote research which helps to understand advertising: its role, how it works, how it is perceived and its value to UK society and the economy.

Our Academic Outreach Programme

Credos aims to be the intellectual authority of the advertising industry. In order that our work is as authoritative and credible as it should be, we feel it is important to forge links between academia and the industry.

  • Funding: Credos is looking to fund academic studies related to advertising. If you are considering future research which may be of interest, or if you are currently looking into areas where we may be able to work in partnership, then please get in touch.
  • Awards: Credos has established a Master’s Thesis Award. Students writing dissertations which help further our aim of understanding advertising are invited to send us their completed theses. The student who submits the best piece of research will be awarded a £1000 prize, and will potentially be offered further funding.
  • Publications: If you have recently conducted research related to advertising, or if you are currently working on such a project, we would be delighted to hear from you.  Selected works will be published on the Credos website.
