The event marked the launch of our report 'The Contribution of the Advertising Industry to the UK Economy', written in partnership with The Work Foundation. This work set out to quantify the direct and indirect contribution of the advertising industry to the UK economy. It also sought to outline the various mechanisms through which advertising stimulates economic growth.
Attendees heard from Andrew McGuinness, Partner at Beattie McGuinness Bungay and Chair of Labour's Creative Network, Will Hutton, Chair of the Big Innovation Centre, and Dr Ben Reid, Senior Researcher at The Work Foundation.
